JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, be able to complete all necessary steps for servicing of loans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LOAN SERVICING DEPARTMENT
Comply with and assist others in complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Research and resolve issues with customer’s loan accounts.
Review scan folder daily and update all information related to items in the folders.
Prepare exception item reports and keep ticklers updated for reminders of loan- related items
Create and monitor reports for participation loans, loan file maintenance, loan transfers, late charges, skip payments and any other loan report assigned to Loan Servicing.
Maintain all necessary original loan documents.
Process charge off payments and handle any loan risk grade changes.
Maintain and process all items related to the servicing of participation loans.
Maintain records on insurance over $1 million on real estate loans.
Maintain records on life insurance policies that have been pledged as collateral.
Respond and process customer credit reporting complaints in a timely manner, complying with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Handle withdrawn and denied loans – Reg B.
Ensure all collateral security documents are filed, continued, and released in a timely manner.
Maintain customers’ escrow accounts and make distributions, process shortage payments and process surplus checks when necessary.
Process paid out loans, including mailing title lien statements and mortgage releases and UCC releases.
Work with Compliance to monitor flood insurance policies.
Find and update rates of variable-rate loans purchased through Integra acquisition, making sure to keep all loan rates current in core processing system.

Knowledge of banking laws and regulations as they pertain to this position
Knowledge of core processing system
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and effective computer skills
Ability to deal continuously with confidential information and to work under deadlines
Strong organizational skills and accuracy
Self-starter and have the ability to research and stay current on banking laws
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good oral, written and human relations skills.
Good attention to detail and ability to deal tactfully with customers, both external and internal.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Previous loan operations experience preferred
