We are seeking a skilled, hard-working individual who thrives in a team environment to join our growing staff.
As a Leasing Agent, you play a vital role in the real estate industry by assisting in the leasing process for residential properties.
Your primary responsibility is to attract and secure qualified tenants, ensuring high occupancy rates and contributing to the overall success of the property.
You will engage with prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and facilitate the leasing process from initial contact to lease signing.
Key Responsibilities:
*Customer Interaction:*
* Provide excellent customer service to prospective tenants.
* Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
*Property Tours:*
* Conduct property tours to showcase available units, highlighting features and benefits.
* Answer questions and address concerns to assist in informed decision-making.
*Leasing Process:*
* Assist prospective tenants in completing rental applications.
* Collect necessary documentation, such as proof of income, rental history, and references.
*Application Review:*
* Review and assess rental applications for completeness and accuracy.
* Collaborate with management to evaluate applicant qualifications.
*Lease Negotiation:*
* Communicate lease terms and conditions to prospective tenants.
* Assist in negotiating lease terms and addressing any questions or concerns.
*Documentation:*
* Prepare and process leasing paperwork accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and filed appropriately.
*Marketing:*
* Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract tenants.
* Utilize online platforms and other marketing tools to promote available properties.
*Follow-Up:*
* Conduct follow-up communications with prospective tenants.
* Address concerns and provide additional information as needed.
*Tenant Relations:*
* Foster positive relationships with current tenants to encourage lease renewals.
* Address tenant inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary.
*Market Research:*
* Stay informed about local market trends, competitor offerings, and rental rates.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in business, real estate, or related field is a plus.
* Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
* Familiarity with real estate laws and leasing processes.
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
