Shift Type: Part Time Kentucky Medication Aides! Benefits: new wage scale for CMA daily pay Springview Nursing and Rehabilitation is constantly looking for ways to improve our patient care and efficiency, we have decided to incorporate Certified Med Aides into our staffing regimen.
As a Certified Medication Aide you will be responsible for providing patients with non-injectable prescription medications.
As a professional, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical staff to prepare, distribute and monitor the effects of a patient's medication.
You will work in an environment that affords teamwork and the availability of a multitude of layers of nursing staff that you can consult with at any time.
CMA responsibilities: Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations CMA Required skills and qualifications: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) High school diploma or GED One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience working directly with older adults preferred Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Must enjoy working with the senior population EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER The Facility is an equal opportunity employer.
