(MMUS) * *575 Water Tower Bypass * *Campbellsville, Kentucky 42718 * *Phone: 270-469-3939 * *POSITION DESCRIPTION * POSITION: Human Resource Specialist DEPARTMENT: Human Resources REPORTS TO: General Manager Administrations SALARY BAND / FLSA: Salary - Exempt *Position Summary * Human Resource Specialist is to aid with personnel issues, hire and promote new talent, as well as facilitate onboarding.
The HR Specialist will be responsible to administer the benefits and keep up to-to- date with the latest employment regulations and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
This position will work daily with the contingent staffing companies to make sure that all staffing requests are initiated in a timely and efficient manner, and contingent daily reports are accurate.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities * * Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements * Assure that work practices are in guidelines of OSHA standards * Ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO/IATF 16949 (includes ISO 9001) standards, and company policies and procedures * Serves as the Team Member advocate * Assisting in scheduling various meetings and team member programs and events in compliance with department staffing needs * Ensuring the accurate information reflects in payroll database, verifying, and providing inputs regarding data and pay changes * Assist with annual benefits selection * Update benefit information * Assist with contingent staffing companies with staffing request * Assist with payroll process in a timely and efficient manner * Supporting new team member orientation programs, notifies team members on health, dental, medical, and compensation benefits * Maintaining confidentially concerning personnel actions, legal actions, and termination and non- renewal documents * Providing overall assistance and research support to HR and Finance teams on benefits policies, programs, and procedures * Implementing and administering conflict resolutions and investigations in a timely manner * Informing applicants and team members regarding various programs and procedure requirements such as tenure, hours of work, benefits, general work expectations, and time off * Other projects and duties as assigned by management Page 1 of 2 *Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) * * B.
S.
degree or equivalent work experience * Required 3 years of HR Generalist experience, Automotive manufacturing environment preferred * Strong leadership skills, ability to learn and apply new concepts and overcome obstacles with change * Daily attendance, attitude, and work ethic * Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills * Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills * Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, and Power Point software programs * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required * Ability to work in and promote a team-based environment * Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects * Must be flexible with working hours *Physical Demands and Work Environment * While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
The Team Member is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The Team Member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
