Responsibilities: FISCAL ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for female adolescents, adults, older adults, military/veterans and their families.

Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day.

Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY: The Fiscal Accounting Assistant is responsible for maintaining the accounts payable system, computer system, and compiling payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrates competence in the human stages of growth and development.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: An Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Computer knowledge includes spreadsheets, word processing, and payroll systems.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret invoices, accounts payable documents and payroll records.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, staff and regulatory agencies or members of the community.
Ability to communicate on an effective level with physicians, and staff from a variety of disciplines.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out details by uninvolved written or oral instruction.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
