Reporting to the President/Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Network and Information Systems is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, life cycle management, maintenance, and security of the technology throughout the organization.
This work also includes leading the credit union’s service desk, managing the network and communication systems, and serving on internal technology committees.
The leader must maintain trusted partnerships between all business units and respective leaders, ensure investments and resources are managed effectively, and align with ever-changing business objectives.
This individual will foster a fun and engaging team culture that promotes growth and professional development for team members.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field obtained through a formal 4-year program from an accredited higher education institution is required, plus a minimum of five years of increasing experience in an Information Technology role.
Must possess strong server/desktop/network hardware and software knowledge, including operating systems, administrative controls, virtualization, automation, and data center operations.
Extensive IT security knowledge and experience with modern IT frameworks and methodologies.
Certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Network Computer Technician (NCT), and Microsoft Azure Virtual Network are not required but highly desired.
