This position will be based at a newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant in Glendale, KY.
What you will do
The Lead Planner Scheduler will manage and nurture a team of approximately 7 Planner Schedulers.
The Lead ensures the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes.
Plans and schedules the day-to-day activities of technical facility maintenance teams, orders, required parts, and well as requests and coordinates subcontracted service.
Follows up as needed to assure customer satisfaction with work order requirements.
How you will do it
Manage, train, and develop a team of 7 Planner Schedulers.
Assist in the development of SOP’s and generic processes.
Healthy comprehension of the contract.
Take incoming service request calls.
Create work orders, schedule, and dispatch tradesmen for preventative and corrective work.
Track work requests and assure rectification within allowed timeframe.
Assure that the CMMS work orders have sufficient information updates; all work is document and work orders are closed, this includes all labor, materials and steps of action are documented.
Administer subcontractor agreements, create purchase orders, purchase parts and supplies, and track delivery status and schedule.
Subcontractor Management: coordinates service contractor’s preventative and corrective maintenance with trade foreman, manage building access and verifies vendor times and charges.
Warranty management support: prepare paperwork for all manufacturer warranty parts, facilitates return of warranty parts.
Support the compilation of reports and update databases as necessary.
Enforces all Johnson Controls, Inc.
(JCI) safety and risk management policies and procedures; reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and identifies and corrects unsafe work conditions with management oversight.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What we look for
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Service contracting experience.
Scheduling experience.
Facility Management experience.
CMMS background.
Background in HVAC/R, Electrical, Plumbing and General Facilities.
Read and interpreting commercial building plans, specifications, and blueprint.
Completing records and reports related to building facilities and preventive maintenance programs.
