POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for operations, administration and oversight of Developmental Disabilities Residential Services.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Required.
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education or other related field with one (1) year of related experience, preferred.
Three (3) years' experience in Residential services or a related field can substitute for education.
Provide own transportation for program coordination needs and maintain eligibility for transportation.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS: Visual acuity necessary for updating files and completing documents.
Requires frequent stooping, kneeling and crouching to file records .
Hearing and talking is necessary to answer phone and talk with employees and other individuals.
Work is light with walking, standing and sitting.
Manual dexterity is required to perform work processing and other clerical duties
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
Supervises regional managers, completes performance evaluation, and approves time sheets and appropriate
Interviews and recommends employee personnel action (hiring, firing, promotions, etc.
).
Trains and orients managers/supervisors to departmental policies and
Provides 24/7 on call availability for crisis situations in Regional DD residential homes and facilities, as
Ensures that timely and accurate entries are made to Electronic Medical Record and service billing Ensures services are approved timely by managers/supervisors.
Maintain and establish appropriate spreadsheets and other data tracking tools as required or requested .
Provides assistance and training with support plans, document progress, summaries, financial logs, daily logs and monitoring of medication administration as specified on support
Ensures the development, delivery and evaluation of DDID Residential Services; providing technical support to Residential Managers/
Monitors employee/supervisor/manager training compliance in accordance with waiver
Provides assistance/monitoring of HUD residential services and KY Housing Corp
Is a member of DD Executive Leadership Committee and attends all required
Responsible for monitoring budget and expenses of Residential
Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Plan and committee meetings.
Ensures residential programs are in compliance with all applicable federal and state licensure regulations and
