Pre-Employment Requirements: Drug test Criminal Background check – over three years since prior conviction TB skin test: Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
Must have a master’s degree within the human service field.
Must have independent license within the state.
Prefer a LCSW.
Position Summary: Responsible for the overall Clinical management of the program.
Skill Sets: Demonstrate good oral and written communications.
Maintain a supportive and encouraging working relationship with co-workers and residents.
Participate in the initiation, coordination and implementation of the referral plan.
Follow-through, monitor and evaluate activities related to the recovery of the client.
Community-based experience is preferred.
Basic computer skills, strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication skills and well-developed presentation skills are required.
Physical and Environmental Demands: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for required paperwork.
Frequent talking and hearing when communicating with co-workers, families, and other service providers.
Work is light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases during contact with individuals released from various locations i.
e.
jails, hospitals, unsanitary conditions, rehabilitation centers, etc.
Job Responsibilities: Able to provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families and stakeholders.
Help maintain the health, safety and welfare of personnel, persons served and stakeholders.
Ensure the agency is operating under CARF accreditation standards.
Ensure that state and federal licensure and regulations are being adhered to.
Make decisions regarding clinical matters in collaboration with ED if necessary.
Supervise clinical staff, to ensure services are rendered in a timely manner Oversee the structure and report findings to the Executive Director.
Carry a caseload as needed, fill in for clinical staff in their absence.
Supervise employees, complete performance evaluations and approve leave.
Interview and recommend employees personnel action (hiring, firing, promotions, evaluations, etc.
) Train new employees regarding departmental policies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state licensure regulations and standards.
Provide leadership, participate, and recommend quality improvements within the agency.
Respond by phone in a timely manner.
Promote awareness to the community.
Monitor incident reports and provide necessary notifications.
Ensure company policies and procedures are upheld.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state laws, regulations and requirements.
Regularly update personnel on policy changes that impact clients.
Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the clinical program.
Provide clinical supervision and approval of all clinical documentation.
