Job Summary:
The Production Planning Manager is responsible for managing the production plan and leading the product planning team with continuous improvement initiatives and effective production.
Job Responsibilities:
Organizing of sales order
Establishing machine operation plan
Calculation of necessary raw materials
Calculation of necessary man-hour
Management of delivery of product
Management of inventory (major and auxiliary materials)
Cooperation with Purchasing and Production departments
Report the production (production efficiency and cost)
Participating in audits
Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication, team orientation and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, etc.
)
Safety and Quality oriented with a solution-oriented mindset
Ability to problem solve with planning skills
Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance
Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
Korean language skill is a plus
Education and Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a Planner in Logistics or Production industry
Experience in Aluminum or automotive manufacturing is preferred
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field is preferred
Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee will be required to: sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer; regularly walk, stand, sit and communicate.
