Job Summary
Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Director of Secondary Partnerships responsible for the management of the high school dual credit programs (both on and off-campus) and recruitment.
Dual credit currently makes up one-third of the college’s enrollment.
This position is a twelve-month staff position that reports to the college provost.
Job Duties:
• Manage and grow the Dual Credit Program, including the preparation of policy and procedures for instructors, schools, students, and academic departments.
• Supervise and support dual credit team, college recruiters and work closely with high school counselors, liaisons, and faculty to create pathways that encourage high school students to enroll at ECTC.
• Foster relationships with local high schools in our service region and initiating formal dual credit agreements.
• Oversee orientation activities for dual credit students, instructors, and academic departments at the college.
• Develop and distribute necessary training materials, handbooks, and brochures for high school administrators, faculty, and students regarding the use of Peoplesoft and other university technologies.
• Works cooperatively with the Registrar and fellow Admissions staff to ensure that special registration assistance is provided for dual credit students, including visits to area high schools in a timely manner to collect admission and registration materials to meet specified registration deadlines.
• Assists in achieving the college’s outreach goals by working cooperatively with staff from various campus and off-campus organizational units, especially area schools and school districts.
• Leads research, development, implementation, and management for academic and system initiative in concert with the provost, academic leadership, and faculty.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or equivalent (master's degree and three years)
