Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities: - Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation - Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production - Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and customer preferences - Oversee inventory control, including ordering and stock management - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following food safety regulations - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen - Assist in the preparation of meals, including cooking, plating, and garnishing - Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry - Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and techniques - Proficient in supervising and training kitchen staff - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
