General Summary: The Shift Supervisor partners with the store management team to learn and assist in managing the overall operations of the store, including but not limited to accounting, marketing, customer service, and food service.
They manage, assist, and direct store team in their duties as required by company policy and procedures as they learn basic management duties.
Essential Job Duties:
Proficient in customer service and food service responsibilities.
Practices and promotes the FiveStar treatment (friendly atmosphere, customer’s needs met, suggestive selling).
Partners with FiveStar team to provide customers with service as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures.
Assists in timely and thorough training of store team.
Assists in educating store team on policies and communications.
Merchandising and ensuring adequate inventory levels (evaluate displays, pricing, promotional signage, out of stocks).
Responsible for general store operations in the absence of store management team, ensuring inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in good condition, accounting and paperwork tasks are completed timely, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines are in place.
Partners with store management team to assure quality food operation.
Evaluate appearance of food service areas, food quality, signage, and follow food service guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
A valid driver’s license
Must be at least 18
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
Basic Computer Skills.

Ability to work on different shifts (a.

Daily standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, lifting (up to 55 lbs.
