Waterways USA is opening a distribution center and retail location in Brandenburg, KY.
We're looking for someone with organizational acuity, along with basic retail experience.
The warehouse will hold 300-400 kayaks at any given time, this location will help to service our wholesale accounts, along with distributing ecommerce orders to various locations throughout the Midwest and surrounding areas.
We are moving towards handling many in-house deliveries in the surrounding areas as well, part of your job will be to handle deliveries to customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the tasks listed below.
* Maintaining correct inventory levels.
* Receiving transfers from our NC location.
* Receiving containers from our Thailand manufacturing plant.
* Pulling and preparing delivery orders for delivery team.
* Pulling, preparing, shipping, and delivering ecommerce orders.
* Creating BOL for all common carrier shipments.
* Organizing paperwork for all deliveries, orders, and dealer pickups.
* Pulling and preparing wholesale orders.
* Interfacing with our NC team to compile transfers and maintain retail stock.
* Interfacing with our NC team to organize deliveries.
* Interfacing with our marketing team to promote the retail showroom.
* Servicing customers at our retail showroom (on premises).
* Local events.
Parking lot sales and river events.
* Cash wrap.
* Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements - The skills listed below will be vital to your success and ability to perform all tasks listed above.
* Organizational skills.
* Customer service experience.
* Must be able to lift 75 lbs on your own.
* Basic retail knowledge - training will be provided.
* Some managerial experience.
* Basic knowledge of kayaks.
* Fishing knowledge is a plus.
* Competency with Microsoft Office.
* Quickbooks experience is a plus.
* Ability to manage unforeseen issues and address them accordingly.
* Must be an independent worker.
