We are a pediatric clinic serving patients birth to 21 years of age with various needs from developmental delays, Autism to Down Syndrome.
We are dedicated to the success of each child, we offer multiple therapeutic services including: Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies, Positive Behavior Supports, Targeted Case Management, Community Supports, and Mental Health Counseling.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Audit 4 Michelle P.
Waiver (MPW) binders per month to prepare for annual audit
* Create & conduct patient satisfaction surveys bi-annually
* Conduct Quality Assurance Committee meetings and create a Plan of corrections as needed
* Interpret and implement quality standards to meet compliance based on regulatory requirements for: MPW, CMS, OSHA, OIG, HIPAA, etc.
* Oversee the completion of company’s safety standards for: Disaster Plans, Drills at each clinic, Facility/Grounds Maintenance, Safety exits, Fire Extinguishers, General maintain and safety, Vehicle Maintenance, Checklist, General maintenance, Mileage Log
* Identify needed Policy and Procedure and assist in the creation and implementation process
* Assign QA monitors to department managers to report quality standards data
* Maintain updates and new regulations and share with committee, ensure these regulations are implemented
* Collecting, investigating and reporting all patient incident reports to MPW, correct reporting agency and Quality Improvement committee.
* Collect, investigate and respond to all patient grievances with in policy.
* Coordinate a plan for correction for fallout data from quality monitors with the appropriate department, monitor until successful outcome.
* Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
* Create and submit new policy and procedures as needed, assure the implementation process
* Monitor patient files for accuracy
* Maintain customer service audits and manage customer grievances, make recommendations to the appropriate department.

*Compliance/Privacy Officer*
* Serve as Compliance and Privacy Officer for KSC
* Interpret and create HIPAA standards to meet regulatory compliance through the creation of policy and procedures, audit process and continually education and training
* Ensure annual staff training.
* Complete Quality Monitor to ensure HIPAA compliance
* Complete compliance facility audit for physical and electronic PHI security

*Educational/experience requirements:*
* BA degree in Business Administration or related field
* At least one year prior experience with quality assurance, compliance, research and implementation
