Responsibilities:
-The selected candidate will assist the program director and county coordinators throughout the eight-county service area (Marion, Washington, Nelson, Larue, Hardin, Meade, Breckridge and Grayson).
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, day-to-day support, communicating effectively with low-income individuals and the public regarding agency programs and services.
Must travel throughout the eight-county area, prepare reports, monitor, and track data, vendor recruitment, assist with grant preparation and submission, schedules county or community group meetings and records minutes, assists with hiring process.
Confidentiality must be maintained for all clients.
Attendance at meetings and conferences as required.
Post secondary education and supervisory experience of five or more staff is desired.
Candidate must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and have effective communication skills.
Must be empathetic to the needs of low-income clients.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift 40 lbs.
Computer skills required with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have good organizational skills, a valid driver’s license and access to transportation is required.

Pay: $15.
