*Supply Technician*
Fort Knox RMAS ACC Logistics - KY
*Job Summary:*
Contractor personnel shall provide administrative assistance to Fort Knox RMAS ACC Logistics and
Gemini Tech Services by using basic and advanced program functions to perform operations which include updating and revising databases, performing technical research, assisting in inventory functions, monitoring of storage room functions, assisting in records management, providing customer service, performing general administrative and supply support functions.
The major performance areas are technical research, office supply administration, inventory assistance, vehicle maintenance management and warehouse material management.
*Essential Functions:*
* Perform electronic database maintenance to logistics and material management.
* Maintain the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) - Army database system.
* Prepare property records, maintain inventory listings and prepare documentation for the disposition of property.
* Monitors ongoing purchases for clearly defined items.
Reviews, researches, and resolves reports of non-deliveries, losses, damages, discrepancies.
* Verify shipments by reviewing shipping documents for correct quantity and condition of material by matching items by name, part number, unit of issue, quantity and material condition.
Obtain required signatures on appropriate paperwork before releasing material for issue, receipt and/or shipment.
* Ensure inventory remains accurate and adjustments minimized.
* Performs in-depth research and analysis when discrepancies are identified as a result of quarterly physical inventories, Reports of Survey, or customer complaint.
* Participate in command annual and quarterly inventories and spot-checks.
Perform research discrepancies for correction/adjustment.
* Responsible for the timely reporting of accidents, injuries and near miss and hazardous situations.
Perform duties as assigned by the Supply Manager or Project Manager
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* U.
S.
Citizenship.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years military experience is a plus.
* Knowledge of governing supply regulations, procedures, and instructions.
* Military experience in the Supply career field is highly desirable.
* Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
* Requires a valid Class C driver's license with an "Acceptable" driving record.
* Customer services oriented.
* Possess good communication and mathematical skills.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 NACLAC clearance, as well as suitability for a CAC with a local and federal background check.
